Using a physics engine usually used for game development Schneekugel turns your iPhone or iPad into the ultimate snow globe. Thanks to the accelerometer Schneekugel behaves just like a real snow dome. Shake your iPhone or iPad to produce a heavy snow storm or simply watch the snow fall down slowly. Take the bright sight of winter right to your desk: Just turn on auto-shake, plug your iPhone/iPod in the dock and enjoy the scenery! Great for the Christmas season!
Of course you can easily change the background picture with one of your own favorites or take a new one (requires camera).

This does not work, Nor can you add backgrounds. it snows and stops, even when shaken.
The idea is great. A snow ball that shakes itself! I really enjoy looking at it. I think the cute snow man is a little too tall and the snow looks a little weird some times... But apart from that and some bugs in the settings dialog, the app works fine! And you definitely CAN change the background image. Hope the update fixes most of the issues still present. If you are looking for a cute winter scenery to display while charging your iPhone, give it a try!
Yeh, you can add your own pic, which is why I bought this; BUT, it goes BEHIND the snowman !!! WTH??? Whats the use? And the snow stops falling to quickly-way before auto shake kicks in. Going to delete if own picture background not fixed soon. But, if you just want snowman-not your own pic-good graphics-but please make snow fall CONTINUOUSLY.
Great app for some christmas feeling. Definitly good price for value! like it!
